4th Annual Scrap the Superbowl Party

Last night was the 4th Annual Scrap the Superbowl Party. Because most of my friends couldn't care less about watching the Superbowl, we started our own tradition. On Superbowl Sunday we "scrap" (do away with) the Superbowl and "scrap" (scrapbook) during the game. The first year it was just Genny and me, scrapping at her house. This year we held the party in the church craft room, so that we had more room for more people, and also so we could use all the fun tools that the church makes available to crafters.

The party last night was a lot of fun. Genny, Paige, and I were joined by three of Genny's friends from Curves. The six of us laughed a lot as we worked hard to make progress on our projects. I was able to finish four 2-page spreads in my scrapbook on Munich! Only 6 more to go! I'm already looking forward to next year's party. At the rate my schoolwork is progressing, that might be the next time I get to scrapbook!

Scrap the Super Bowl -- always sponsored by Sonic! The last photo of Paige makes me laugh...she looks like she's really struggling. Very fun evening!

well, actually, most things we do are sponsored by Sonic - children's choir, scrap nights, etc. It's just lucky for us it's so conveniently located...

Umm, I was struggling...glad you enjoy that. But, seriously, are we allowed to scrapbook without Sonic? I think it's in the bylaws.
