Carving Pumpkins!

Yesterday Rachel came up to watch the Alabama-Tennessee football game and carve pumpkins with me. During the first half of the game we designed our templates, then during halftime we got started, cutting off the lids and scooping out the guts and seeds. During the second half, we got the seeds cooking and watched nervously as the Tennessee team tried to score in the final seconds of the game. After screaming at the top of our lungs when Alabama blocked their field goal attempt and won the game, we set back to work carving our designs. They turned out so good! I chose to do the Alabama A, while Rachel did an R for her name. We were both quite pleased with the results. It was a great day, made so much better by an Alabama win. Roll Tide! :)
