Snowiest day in Dallas History!

So, the weather-guessers have been predicting snow for today all week, but for the most part they said we might get a couple of inches. Yesterday, the predictions grew to 3 or 4 inches. Well, we woke up this morning to a couple of inches already on the ground and the snow still falling steady and hard. It was so pretty! Cambridge was still open, so I hit the road to work (the roads were quite passable this morning, thankfully), taking a few pics on the way.
When I got home from work, I decided to take a walk in the snow. It was still snowing hard - had been all day! - and there was about 6 inches on the ground by that point. I walked down to a lovely little park that I've noticed frequently but never visited before today. It was almost completely isolated, and so pretty!
Tonight at 11:00, it's still snowing hard, and we've had 9.5" - the most snow in a single day in Dallas history by nearly 2"! It's amazing, beautiful, and the reason we don't have school tomorrow. :) We may get a couple more inches before the storm finally calms. Am I really in Texas?! I can't wait to go outside and take more snow pics in the morning!
