New York City, Day 4

Our final adventure in NYC was a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday morning. We took the subway across to Brooklyn, and then ended up having to walk farther than expected because we forgot that the subway doesn't stop at all stops on Sundays. We walked down to the Dumbo area (Down under Manhattan Brooklyn Bridge Overpass) for great views of the Brooklyn Bridge, then made our way across the bridge itself. It was a nice warm day, with a refreshing breeze and a brilliant blue sky, and it seemed like everybody in Brooklyn was out on the bridge.
Manhattan Bridge
This dog rode his skateboard all the way across the bridge!
He's styling!

After we made our way back to Manhattan, we walked around a bit seeing a few more of the sights, and I finally got my street-vendor pretzel that I had been waiting for all trip. Then we had to check out of the hotel and take a taxi to the airport for our flights home.

I am so thankful for such a fun trip to New York City with my best friend. We had such a great time, saw so many parts of this great city, and really enjoyed catching up with one another. I'm already looking forward to our next adventure together.
