All Night Long

Okay, now I remember why I hate working on papers at night after work. I worked on my book review last night until nearly 10:00, when I forced myself to put it away and tried to turn my mind off. Well, apparently it didn't work, because I dreamed about lambs (my book review is on "Lamb Christology in the Apocalypse") and wrote my paper ALL NIGHT LONG!! I had some really good ideas in the middle of the night, and actually considered booting up my laptop and actually making the changes, but who wants to do that at 3:00 a.m. So I tried and tried and tried to go back to sleep, and now this morning I'm really sleepy and I CAN'T REMEMBER THE CHANGES!!! Hopefully they'll come to me during the day.

And by the way, dreaming about lambs apparently doesn't have the same effect as counting sheep...

I hate it when I work all night long. Hope you get that paper done so there will be hours of scrapbooking in your near future. Maybe you could scrapbook some lamb pics to add excitement to your paper. ; )

Bummer! I HATE when that happens. I have craziness going on in my life right now and can't turn my mind off at night or during the day. I'm trying to work/sleep and solve/worry about the problems of the world at the same time. Not sure I'm doing my best work, but one of our clients told me that I'm keeping the world spinning here. No wonder I'm so tired!! Hope we all get good rest soon.
