Spring Planting

The other night I set out to plant my spring flowers. I've been spending a lot of time on my balcony lately, and wanted to prettify it with some spring blooms. When I explored Home Depot, I found some container-ready tomato plants that were already full of yellow flowers and even a couple of tiny tomatos, so I decided to give one of those a try this year. Amy came up from Ft. Worth to help, since I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to planting. We had a good time and ended up with three pretty pots - one with mixed blooms, one with beautiful purple daisies, and one with a rapidly growing tomato plant!

Getting our hands dirty

I love me some 'maters! And my plant now has at least 15 little green tomatos on it!

Is this color not fabulous?! I can't believe how gorgeous the daisies are.

My mixed pot is full of red verbena,
"lemon zest" petunias,
blue laguna,
and white petunias. Isn't it pretty?
