Called to Account

Well, today I was called to give an account, and I failed. My friend Amie asked me how the sit-ups are going - she's added them to her routine and wanted to hear about my progress. I am ashamed to admit that once softball started and I started experiencing such awful pain in my legs, I abandoned the sit-up commitment pretty quickly. I haven't done my nightly sit-ups since Easter. Well, thanks Amie for asking about it. I have determined to renew my commitment to 50 sit-ups nightly. Which means that, after tonight's softball game and 50 situps, I'm probably going to be SORE tomorrow! Don't expect me to move much. Genny, you might have to direct the kids on Sunday. But at least I won't be bailing on my commitments anymore!

Uh, situps? Oh yeah, I was supposed to be doing them, too! Oops. I guess I'm being called to account as well. Why, oh why do I not stay committed to these things? The pain isn't that bad is it? Of course we're going to be hurting again like the first night because WE'RE STARTING OVER! (Notice I said WE) Sigh...
