Dyeing Easter Eggs

Carrying on tradition, I joined the Holmes family for some egg-dyeing fun today. With nine colors to work with, we came up with some pretty neat creations. This year's unusual technique was using different colored crayons instead of the traditional white. We had a green that created pickle-juice colored eggs, and a denim color that turned out a really deep blue. We ended up with 47 beautiful eggs (some prettier than others, for sure) and a fun-filled afternoon.

Looks like fun! I'm impressed at the creativity, but then again, I shouldn't be surprised. :) Happy Easter!
