Downtown In Lights

Last night, after the dissapointing SEC championship game, Rachel and I went to downtown Fort Worth to check out the Christmas display. It wasn't even all that cold, thankfully. The whole city is lit up with white lights, and it is so pretty. I love the atmosphere of downtown at any time, but at Christmas it is even more wonderful. These first few pics are just downtown in general, including Bass Hall.
The tree downtown is not nearly as big as the one in Rockefeller Center, but it's huge and beautiful anyway. We had fun walking around underneath it, trying to decide if it is real (it is), and taking photos.

All around the tree there are fun Christmas decorations, including a ginormous ornament that changes colors. Santa is set up to greet children and hear their Christmas wishes, but the line was too long for us to wait in it. :)

Great pictures. It was a tough loss. You're not the only one who is thinking the season could have turned out better.
